In Reel’s (2005) article entitled “As Amazon crops grow, a forest shrinks” he points out that illegal logging can affect the people that are living in the forest. Five Irantxe tribesman go in to the Amazon forest and see that it is a different place. It looks like it is not a forest anymore. Many trees have been cut down and in many cases it is illegally. They all think about money; that's why they do illegal logging. When a member of the government took a look at the tribes land he got shot in the chest with an arrow, because the tribe thought they were bad people. Some agency is protecting the forest and they are focusing on it. Some agency is helping the tribe by letting them buy anything they want, but they refuse, and they said they just want their land protected. This situation needs to be looked at seriously.

People in this world don’t really think that some situation is really a problem that can affect many things. This is because illegal logging is really bad for the people and the environment. There are many bad things about this situation. Is this what people in this world want our environment to be? They don't appreciate the things god made. People in this world should appreciate what they have and not ruin it for the sake of money. Illegal logging is criminal because they destroy the forest, disaster will happen and less oxygen in the air.

They don’t know that the habitat in the forest will be gone if they do the illegal logging, because some animals need trees to live. For example, birds need trees to live because they live in them. If many of the trees have been cut down, how will the bird live? They will die, because there are not enough trees. Moreover, not only birds, but many species, will die because the forest has been disturbed by logging. This is not good for the species or the environment.

There are many problems that will occur, like landslides, because if there are no trees, landslides will be likely to happen. This is really dangerous, because disaster will happen. When landslides happen with floods, it will make a big disaster and sometimes it is likely to take lives.

In this world no humans like disaster and bad things that happen to them. We just want a peaceful place to live in this world, for instance, with a nice forest to look at in every direction. Humans like green with many green plants there is more oxygen and people will breathe in fresh air. Also the tribe will want a good place to live. This is really good if there is no illegal logging and people control the logging. They can recycle things and control the cutting of the trees.

In conclusion, illegal logging is really evil because species will be gone and natural problems will occur. That's why illegal logging can affect many things in this world. So, people need to look at this problem seriously so that this problem can get lower.

In Bhattacharya’s (2004) article entitled “Global warming threatens millions of species”, she points out that the temperature nowadays can make the species die. When the temperature changes they feel like they are in a new place, and this will make many of the species disappear. Some species will move to another place because their habitat is gone. Some species will survive but they try their best to live. Although some species will die, some will live when they migrate to different places because of the temperature. The new environment for the species may always be smaller than the one that they lived in before. Action needs to be taken as soon as possible.

Global warming is bad for our earth because it can kill many animals and plants. Whose fault is it that this happens? We think that it is our fault that global warming occurs because some of these people on this planet don't really think about what they have done. Some people don’t care about global warming until it affects them, then they become aware of it. This is something really serious, because it can affect our lives too; not only the people that make this happen, but also the innocent people will get the effect. So, people in this world must work together to take action and solve this problem, because the future will get affected.

This is not good for the future because we all need animals and plants to live. Every person in this world today needs food to live and the food they get is from animals and plants. We need to take care of these species because they all are useful. Because of all these species in this world effect us in different ways, so we need to thank them for the one that make us live in this world. Furthermore, we need to keep all the species alive, because they are living things in this world. They contribute something in many different ways; maybe we don’t know how but they do. This will make our world really nice to live in.

Similarly, the temperature on this earth is getting hotter and hotter and this is really bad. The greenhouse effect will affect everybody in this world. One of the effect is the ozone will get thinner and thinner every time the greenhouse getting worse. This is also because many people cut all the tree on this earth and there is less oxygen in the air. It can cause the greenhouse effect and the atmosphere will be thinner.

All the people in this world will be really angry because they cannot live in a better place because there are many disasters happening in this world because of the global warming effect. For instance, many flood disasters happen in this world because of the temperature rising. The sea level is also getting higher and higher and this is also because of the temperature. The ice in the arctic is melting and the sea level goes up. This is not good for the humans that are living in this world.

In conclusion, global warming can affect the whole world. This will get worse if the people in this world did not take action as soon as possible. This is because we are the one that get the effect, and it is really serious if we just don't care about this global warming. Everybody in this world must care and think of a way to solve this problem, because it is our responsibility

Professional athletes income

Do you know that the average salaries of basketball player in NBA?. Its around 2.2 million per year. But for superstar Micheal Jordan received $200,000 for every shot that counts(“Show Me the Money”,1997). All professional athletes work hard to get to the point that they are called “professional athletes”. Even though they have a lot of salaries but they are human and human is all the same. They still work for money and sometimes they work hard to earn more money. They build commitment to themselfs to be professional altheles. It is hard to be a professional athletes because they need both fitness and mental ability to be one. Professional athletes should be allowed to make big salaries because they need the talent to use in the games, they need the private life to get compromised and they need a commitment to be a professional athletes.

Firstly, to be a professional athlete is really hard because not everyone can be an athlete. The lucky person with a talent will be a professional athlete. Talent did not come from a normal person but it comes from extraordinary person that he knows he got the talent. For instance Allen Iverson in the NBA is a superstar and he play very well in basketball because he got the talent and the talent he got make him a professional athlete. For example, when he play basketball he will beat the other team because he use the talent and bring his team to a victory. But some people can build the talent from young like they spend the whole life trying to be a professional athletes and also dreaming about becoming one someday. This is why all professional athletes get a lot of money.

Moreover, it need a commitment person to be an athlete. This is because if they want to become a athlete they need to be a better person that people will respect. People do not want athletes that are bad in life. For example an athlete man who rape a twenty year old college girl. This is a bad example to the society if this is one of the athlete. Therefore,athlete need to maintain their lifestyle and behavior. Such as, just don’t be crazy to people control the behavior and when meet people greed them. Moreover, they help the charity by donating money,cloths,food and pants. According to Henderson from the hawks team on NBA(2007) “the Hawks organization and HOT 107.9 FM are teaming up to help the Metro Atlanta Task Force for the Homeless by holding a coat drive”(para.1). That is what people want professional athletes to be a role model to every young ones and also give credit to this athletes because they help people to get a better life in future. They are many reason professional athlete to have money and this is one of the reason.

Furthermore, athletes are busy and they need to have private life in someway. Many athletes private life has been disturbed by being a professional athletes because they are really busy in life. For example, they leave their family at home and go to a basketball tournament and won’t be back at home in two weeks. Also they only have around one day to be at home and spend time with their families. After that they are going to another tournament. Sometimes they do a commercial and have no time for family. For instance, like magic Johnson have children to take care of but he is always not at home to have some time with his children. Professional athletes private life get compromised every time. Moreover, they always have the passion to be a successful athlete. This is why athlete get paid so much money to be a professional athletes because it is not easy.

Opponents of the athlete the got huge salaries is the think it is only a game that people play and like to watch and also that easy to get that much money. However, this is untrue because it is not that easy to be become an athlete. It is the life they had putting on risk they make. For example, they risk their families at home and go to a game that are so far away from their families.To be a professional athletes is like putting a life on the edge that will fail. For instance, like basketball game they love to play and know how to play but sometimes they put their life on that game. Like Tracy Mcgrady , he love to play and also put his life on it to become a professional athletes. This is because all of the professional athletes get huge amounts of money.

In conclusion, professional athletes is fare enough to get a huge amount of money because they got the talent, commitment and risk they put on. To become professional athlete is hard because it needs a pontential and talent people. They still need be passion in life to become a professional athlete that get a huge amount of money everyday is set your mind on it. Everybody can get what they want but the talent can go higher than the average people.

According to Zussman(2005) article “ Fighting Corruption Is a Global Concern” he discusses about the corruption around the world nowadays. Example like anti-corruption conference in Beijing that helps think about corruption in the world. Next, he talks about the transparency international report making corruption issues visible to public. Moreover, many countries and global organizations are working together to abolish corruption in society, business and government. Also many countries are ready with the anti-corruption because they interferes with economic,disminishes citizen’s quality of life and undermines people’s trust. Furthermore, government is trying to get rit of the problem by telling the society to be aware and placing the honest people to be a leader. For example Canada is making better in laws and policies so corruption is less

Corruption is very bad for the people, government, and life. According to Worldwide Corruption Continues to Block Development (2006) the author says “Bribery, nepotism, and other forms of corruption exist to a greater or lesser extent in all countries, but its corrosive effects hurt poor nations the most. The World Bank considers corruption one of the greatest obstacles to economic and social development because it undermines the rule of law and weakens the institutional foundations upon which economic growth depends”(para.1 ). It makes people go crazy thinking about corruption and this can ruin people’s life. So corruption is dangerous. This is the reason we must work to find the solutions to corruption because it interferes with econonomic development, the wrong people get the money and will creates gap between rich and poor people.

This shows that people need to make the economy grow properly without corruption. Economy is very important to the society. Example , society need economy to live and they need a good economy then they life would be easy. Besides that, it can also effect the country’s economy. Then , the country’s status will drop because of the corruption is still going on. Such as, finland economy is not that stable because too many corruption is going on and finland is having hard time to make it right (zussman, 2007). So , we need to make this right so the country’s economy will be fine.

Therefore, this corruption can really make people angry because the money goes someway else. For example , a contracter that have a lot of money bride the man that incharge to build a building and suppose to be the other contracter that always get that job did not get it. As a result, the contracter that has a lot of money get project and not the usual contracter. Thus, this situation cannot be going on everytime because later people will think that money is everything. So,keeping the money in the right hand is always the good choice. Every people use money to buy food, cloths but not to use money in bribing people. For instance , there is man that always get the project building pipe lines so, one day someone richer than him bought over the project and then he lose everything that he put in to the project. This is why we need a solution to clear this problem.

Similarly, the rich people become more richer and the poor people become more poorer and this is a big problem. The rich people always make corruption because they have the money and the power to do that. For instance, the poor people will need to find another job. Example , the poor people will get a normal jobs but the rich people can bribe some contracter to get money they want. This will make the difference between the rich guy n the poor guy. Furthermore, the opportunity to get a jobs lowers for some company. This is because they afraid that many people will make corruption in their company. Example , a company that sells furniture and this guy come and bribe a friend in the company to get some of the furniture in really low price so that he can sell it to someone else on a high price.

In conclusion, corruption is very dangerous and can make many bad things to everyone. Therefore, it needs a solution to make the economy go up so the right people get the money and there is less crime. If the society is very honest , corruption will not happen and the country will be in a good shape of economy. This will make more people happy and more people get jobs .

Abstract
The topic of this paper is credit card. It argues that credit cards are bad for the society. There are four reasons for this argument. Firstly, it can make people suffer. Second, people can get physical sickness. Third, it can also ruin people’s credit rating. Lastly, it can make people go bankrupt easily.

can credit cards help you or ruin you ?

Do people know that credit card can ruin someone life ?. but for some people credit card is like the power to buy everything but they don’t know the debt is getting high and will regret later on. This credit card is easy to bring around but this card is not good as it seems to be. However, this card is harmful to some people. Some people think that credit is useful but for others it is bad. Recently, people like to use this card very often but do they know that if they pay the credit card late the interest will double up.Credit cards are bad for the society because it can make people suffer from emotional, make people get a physical sickness, ruin people’s credit rating and make people bankrupt.

A credit card is “a plastic card bearing an account number assigned to a card holder with a credit limit that can be used to purchase goods and services”glossary of bankcard (n.d, para.12). This card people bring around where ever they go because it is like money. According to (Bellis,2007) credit card is a card that have identification number on it and customer will buy things without money. This card has a interest if the card is used. People can use this card everyway in the world. People need to pay this card every month and if they pay late after the due date the interest rate of this card will be more higher than the original payment. Credit card started in the United States on 1920s but credit card have been made far back on 1890 in Europe (Bellis,2007). Credit card become popular when a men name John Biggins (the invertor) issued a credit card from Flastbush National Bank of Brooklyn in New York in 1946 (Bellis,2007). According to Hudson (1989) says that texas government had a problem with hightower in a credit card controversy because of the of an act of misbehavior. On the other hand, people say that credit card its not a problem if the people know how to control money. However , credit card can make a lot of problem for people.

This plastic card also known as credit card really can make people go emotional sickness . In other words , it can make people suffer in life because of the debt is too much. For example, when a person get back his bill regarding his credit card and the amount is around two thousand dollars. He struggle to find money because the bill is so high and he is scared that if he don’t pay it now the interest will go up. Furthermore, some banks have interest too high until some society cannot afford. For instance, a man used his credit card and then he forget to pay on time due to some problem he had. Immediately his interest goes up to double the usual interest rate. Such as ,if his interest is 5% it will goes up until 10%. According to (Destito,2006) late payment surely will rise the interest percentage up to 30 points. This is one of the example that society need to control the credit card usage because it is dangerous for some people.

Moreover, people sometimes get physical sickness because of credit cards. One reason is stress because need to think so much about how to get more money to pay the debt. Such as, a person always complaining about his head hurts everytime when he thinks about the bill that he going to pay about his credit cards. This person is having stress problem because he need to think a way to pay all that debt around fifteen thousand dollars. Sometimes a person cannot sleep because need to think too much and this will disturb his life style also will not have much consentration in work. When someone think to much always they will got headache. Therefore, too much people are now suffering from headache , hard to sleep and stress because of credit card debt. So,credit card can make people die because of stress and this makes that credit card is not good for society.

If a person did not pay for his credit card it will ruin his credit rating. This is because all banks are connected and they will know if a person did not pay his credit card or not. This will make a problem when a person need to get a loan because he got a bad rating in credit card. For example, when a person need to open a small business like a restaurant he needs a loan to open the restaurant but if he got a bad credit rating it is imposible to get a loan from the bank. So , many bank will not accept this person to get a loan. In addition, if that person need to apply another credit card from another bank as a result he cannot get that credit card because they already know that person has a bad credit rating. Moreover, if a person needs car or a house he needs a gud credit rating. For instance, most bank will not approve a loan to a person that is bad in credit rating so this person will not go out of debt . he will always in debt eventhough his credit rating is getting better. This is bad things about credit card and so credit card is bad for the society.

Similarly, credit card can make people bankrupt. According to Heffter (2006)” for those already struggling to keep up , higher payments could push them into bankruptcy” ( para.2). this mean if someone have a big problem with their bills it might come to an end that person will be bankrupt.For instance a person did not pay that credit card surely he will be file for bankruptcy. This will make that person in lots of trouble. For example, people will not ask for your help and will not help this person because he is already bankrupt. When the person already listed as a bankrupt man he will not get away because his name is on the list of bankrupt people’s. So , this will make him hard to open a business because if someone need to open a business he or she need to get a loan but if that person already listed as bankrupt it is really hard to get a loan because he is already been bankrupt before. Since this is really bad obviously credit card is also bad because this plastic card really can make people go crazy.

Opponents of the high interest says that many banks give a low interest in credit card. Which can help people establish good credit. However, this statement is irrelevant because interest is still money and people work for money to live a nice life and not waste on something that not beneficial. For example, person work to get money and he get interest like fifty dollars a month. If the fifty dollars spent on food, it will be good because we can get satisfed on food and not on interest. Some of the interest will go up and down depending on which banks people use. But the interest makes the credit card look bad. For instance, if there is no interest in credit card maybe people will get a credit card but it is impossible because that’s a credit card rules. That is the reason bank introduce a card that can be used in different ways. Not only that , credit card itself also not good because it makes people need to use money.

In conclusion, credit card is bad because of the interest that make it worse, suffer from it, easily get physical sickness ,ruin people’s credit rating and make people bankrupt. This shows that credit can make people get worse in life . It also make people got a lot of problem in life. Not only that but people will realize that credit card is not that good as people saying about it. Credit card is so dangerous and really can make people use money without realizing it. People need to control of their money and card so that they can be successful in life. Everyone in this world want to be success but there is many different ways to reach the goal.
